Importance Of Forefoot Shape In School Shoes

The foot is a vital part of the body and made up of 26 bones, 33 joints and over 100 ligaments, tendons and muscles supporting the entire weight of the human body; sometimes, even more, when you factor in the impact of running and jumping.
Along with fitting for size, width, support and comfort, the shape of the foot should also be considered when choosing black leather school shoes.

The 'best fit' for each forefoot shape will have no major gaps for sliding, ample wiggle room for the toes and no rubbing on the side of the shoe.

We can categorise most feet into three main foot shapes: Egyptian, Morton and Giselle.

At Ascent our extensive range of school shoes are built to meet the needs of each of these foot shapes.
